1. Choose your grid
Start small: a 16×16 grid is enough for a heart or a mushroom. Move up to 64×64 or 128×128 when you want more detail, or press Free models to colour a drawing that is already prepared.
Pick a colour, then fill the squares by clicking or dragging.
The 🖐️ Move around button is on: your finger moves the grid. Tap 🖐️ to switch it off and colour.
Pixactivity is a pixel art editor that opens right in your browser, with nothing to install and no account to create. Draw on a grid from 4×4 to 128×128, with a finger on a phone or tablet, or with a mouse on a computer. Choose a colour from the palette or mix your own, zoom in to place each square exactly, and rub out mistakes as you go.
It is also a colour-by-number game. Open one of the free models and every empty square shows the number of its colour. The colour key sits above the grid, the counter shows how far you have got, and the Check button circles in red any square that needs fixing.
When your drawing is finished, turn it into a video. The Colouring video button films it being coloured in, square by square, as an MP4 file ready for Reels, Shorts and TikTok. It is free, and everything happens on your device.
